Driving Information

British Columbia has a number of border crossings on its southern boundary with the United States. From Seattle, you can drive up Highway I-5 to the border, then Highway 99 directly into the heart of Vancouver. Follow Cambie Street all the way over the Cambie Street Bridge (about 10 - 15 minutes depending upon the traffic.) Once over the Cambie Street Bridge:

To drive to the YWCA Hotel/Residence:

  • Take the first right which is Beatty Street. Drive 1 1/2 blocks and you will see the YWCA Hotel/Residence on your left hand side. Take the lane just past the hotel on your left. Pull up behind the hotel into the 5 minute loading zone and enter the hotel to register. One of the hotel's Guest Services Representatives at the Front Desk will advise you where to park.

To drive to the Days Inn Vancouver Downtown:

  • Turn right on Seymour Street. Drive 4 blocks and turn left on Pender Street. Hotel is 3 blocks ahead on your right.
