B.C.’s referendum to decide between proportional representation or First-Past-The-Post (FPTP) voting systems has been extended to December 7 due to the postal strike. Citizens can continue to mail-in a ballot asking two questions: the first determining a preference for either FPTP or a proportional voting system and the second ranking the preference between three systems of proportional representation.

As the campaign continues the following SFU experts are available to speak on all aspects related to the referendum:

Sanjay Jeram, political science, 604 445 6790, sanjay_jeram@sfu.ca
