More than 300 kids aged under one to 10 years old will participate in a Little Fox Run at SFU’s Burnaby campus’ Terry Fox Field this morning. The event, organized by the SFU Childcare Society in partnership with the Terry Fox Foundation, aims to commemorate SFU alumnus and humanitarian Terry Fox, who once trained on the same field with the SFU varsity basketball team. This is the second consecutive year the SFU Childcare Society has hosted a Little Fox Run. Organizers say they hope to continue educate the children about Fox’s legacy and raise awareness about cancer research.
