Current Program: Graduate Diploma in Urban Studies

Research & Urban Interests: Cory’s urban interests include active and sustainable transportation, psychosocial effects of mobility, and the embodied experience of place and travel. His M.Urb thesis research employs a quantitative research model for measuring and comparing the cumulative factors contributing to satisfaction with travel among cyclists in Metro Vancouver’s suburbs. 

Current Work: Cory is currently employed full time as Member and Event Services Manager with Cycling BC, the province’s governing body for the sport of Cycling. 

When not studying... Cory is training for and competing in road, track, mountain and endurance cycling events. He can also be found biking around Vancouver with his wife and 16 month old son, Julian. When not on a bike he’s staring at maps, planning adventures and drinking coffee.
