Research & Urban Interests: Jordan’s urban interests include active transportation, sustainable transportation, transit planning, history and theory of urban planning, land use and policy, and urban design. In her thesis research, she is using quantitative and qualitative analysis to understand how design and demographics, as well as municipal policies and practices, affect pedestrian connectivity in Squamish, British Columbia. She is currently working in transit system planning at TransLink, where she helps monitor and improve the performance of the transit network.

When not studying, she is planning her next trip outdoors–skiing, surfing, or mountain biking with her pup!  She also has a creative side. Catch her cooking, doodling or traveling and taking film photos along the way.
