Research and Urban Interests: Steve’s research interests include affordable housing, public transportation, transit-oriented development and urban immigration.

Current and Previous Work: Currently Steve works as a Research Assistant to Meg Holden on the Township of Langley’s Development Management Process Review. He has also been a Research Coordinator for the Broadway Subway Project under the B.C. Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure. In 2019, he was the Conference Convener for Rethinking the Region, an annual conference hosted by the Department of Urban Studies.

When not studying, Steve likes to make and drink specialty coffee, try to recreate Buzzfeed’s “Worth It” videos at his favourite restaurants, and enjoy Strathcona Beer Company’s latest brews with friends.
