Milun Tesovic, a 22-year-old business student, has been named the 2009 British Columbia Student Entrepreneur Provincial Champion by Advancing Canadian Entrepreneurship (ACE).

Tesovic, a business administration student, created and owns Metroleap Media Inc., which runs the MetroLyrics.com website, which was recently named the most popular site in Canada by online magazine Suite 101.

Tesovic, who employs five other SFU students, was 16 years old when he hatched the idea to start a business so he could afford to buy a car.

MetroLyrics, a song lyrics database, beat out such well-known sites as CBC, Canoe and even the government of Canada. It ranks 419th in the world, according to Suite 101.

Recently, Tesovic was named SFU's first Entrepreneur of the Year, which won MetroLeap Media Inc. entry as the inaugural client in Venture Connection's Incubator Program.
