Physical space is a key institutional resource that is in considerable demand across all three SFU campuses. The planning, assignment, utilization, and management of our space is a university priority.
SFU Space Management Plan Initiative
SFU is implementing a Space Management Plan at the VP portfolio and Faculty level that recognizes the cost of space and is designed to lead to a more efficient, equitable and transparent use of space over time. Visit the SFU Space Management Plan webpage for further information.
SFU Space Planning Committee
Chaired by the Vice-Provost and Associate Vice-President, Academic, Wade Parkhouse, the SFU Space Planning Committee is responsible for steering the implementation of the SFU Space Management Plan and for reviewing academic and administrative space requests, principles and priorities.
If you have a request for additional space or to exchange/return existing space, please login to access the Space Request Form webpage and complete the form provided. This form will be used by the SFU Space Planning Committee to review the request and will assist with updating space records in the space management system.
