The application for Art Skills: Sustainability Focus is now LIVE.
This is an opportunity for eligible* students doing contemporary arts internships, field placements and practicums to earn a $1,100 honorarium for participating in an additional skill building project alongside their community placement.
Sustainability Focus
Art Skills combines real world experience alongside skills development, while inspiring contemporary art students to engage with the climate emergency. Experts from the local arts and culture communities will run workshops and hold talks and panels. Students will deepen their perspective and skill-sets through hands-on practicums and internships, and additional readings related to environmental and career sustainability in the arts. At the end of the project, students create short ‘art skills’ videos to share their learning with future students and the public. See past videos made by students here.
Eligible students earn $1,100 (for completion of program)
Students will also be enrolled in the Art Skills 2023 Canvas course
