This panel is a thoughtful discussion to celebrate the past, present, and future outlook for women in engineering. Hosted by WCE Vancouver, the panel will look back over the past few decades to celebrate how determined women and supportive men have created positive change in engineering. What once could be labelled as an “old boys club” has now made moves towards a diverse and more inclusive industry. However, we still have a ways to go – less than 14% of practicing engineers are women. What should have changed by now, but hasn’t, and what can we do to tip the scales to achieve gender parity in engineering.

The panel features Susan Davidson, M.S., P.Eng; Lianna Mah, M.Eng, P.Eng, FEC (click here to hear her interview on our Best of the WWEST podcast); Kate Moran, PhD, MSc; and Michael O'Keefe, P.Eng, Struct. Eng.
