Girls Only Makeathon: Tech for Change is a making marathon! Hosted by Geering Up and The Department of Curriculum and Pedagogy at UBC, this event is supported by WWEST's partners funding program.

High school girls can immerse themselves in the world of making, innovation, and technology in a supportive "girls only" environment. From LED art, to wearable tech, to app-making, this event is one-of-kind designed to introduce girls to the idea of being a "maker." There will also be a mentor panel, UBC students, and teacher candidates at the event to answer all of your questions.

Open to high school girls!
