Join Engineers & Geoscientists British Columbia for Taking the Stage presented by The Humphrey Group. A high impact program that enables women leaders to project a powerful leadership presence that commands recognition and respect. Unlock the power of your voice, and excel in the spotlight. Women are participating in the professions in increasing numbers, but are often not seen as leaders. That’s because they have been taught to listen and respond, rather than to take the stage and speak so others listen and follow them. This intensive one-day seminar will show you how to be recognized for your views. You will learn how to develop a clear message, create a persuasive structure, and communicate it in a way that allows you to be heard the first time you speak. In the seminar, we will also explore concepts on presence. You will become aware of your physical presence and what it is saying to others. Through a series of exercises, you will learn to connect with your audience from an authentic place and inspire them to action.
