Select one of the suggested qualitative research studies, or propose one which is of greater interest/importance to you (make sure it's instructor-approved:), read, and prepare a 10 minute book talk/presentation which tells us what the study's central concerns and goals were, how it was carried our, whether you'd recommend it to other students in the class, and why. So, a fairly general, engaging book talk which helps others gain some insight into what this text does and why it might be of use or interest to students of qualitative educational research, is what's called for. Make sure to identify and explain what benefits the study provides-or promises-for its research subjects.You DO NOT need to provide a written text; evaluation (10% of course grade) will be based upon the depth, accuracy, usefulness and effectiveness of your "book of the week show and tell".
