| As with any magnetic media it's important to not operate or store cassette tapes near any high magnetic fields such as those created around loudspeaker voice coils and video monitors. | Extremes of heat and cold are also to be avoided as well as operation and storage in dusty environments. |
| The plastic housing makes these tapes quite robust, but physical impact can be a problem so take care. |
