Reverb Simulation

A series of echoes rapidly increasing in density until a continuous stream of sound is heard, at the same time decaying in intensity.
Sound Examples:
  voice (dry)    voice (reverb)

* The above example was created with a reverb simulator in Csound.
Typical controls found in artificially generated reverberation simulators:
ratio of direct sound to reverberation effect
initial delay between direct sound and onset of early reflections
type of early reflection pattern
reverberation time (RT60) the time it takes the reverberant sound to decay 60db below the steady state level of the source sound.
diffusion: the density of reflections
type of development or bloom of diffusion
