The River's Third Bank (15 mb)

This is an unedited stereo recording of the premiere performance in the SFU Theatre on Nov. 10th, 2006. The four channels were collapsed to stereo and there was no microphone to capture the audience or hall ambiance. The MIDI guitar was bowed and played with mallets. The fretless (an 11 string Godin "Glissantar") was occaisionally pitch shifted up an octave and a fifth. All the sounds were generated in real time save for some sample playback. The primary mode of synthesis was frequency modulation.
