  • Complete reading: A. Leon-Garcia and I. Widjaja: Chapter 5: Peer-to-Peer Protocols and Data Link Layer
  • Begin reading: A. Leon-Garcia and I. Widjaja: Chapter 6: Medium Access Control Protocols and Local Area Networks

  • Start working on the ns-2 Tutorials:
        I. Introduction
        II. Finding Documentation
        III. The Basics
        IV. The first Tcl script
        V. Making it more interesting

  • Submit printouts illustrating each step of the ns-2 tutorial. Include time-stamps on the printouts. Briefly describe the main steps. Limit your submission to seven pages: the cover page plus six typed pages. The cover page should only include course title (ENSC 427: COMMUNICATION NETWORKS), term (Spring 2011), your full name (last name, first name), your SFU ID, and your SFU email address. Double-sided printouts are encouraged.
