ENSC 835: COMMUNICATION NETWORKS

FINAL PROJECT GRADING POLICY

Final project carries 50% of your final grade:            
  • Project proposal(s): 5%            
  • Project title, abstract, and the list of five references: 5%            
  • Project web page: 5%            
  • Project interim report: 10%            
  • Final project report: 25%            

    CLASS PRESENTATION:
    Grading: 10% of the final grade.

  • 1. Introduction to the project: motivation and overview.
  • 2. Overview of related work.
  • 3. Problem description: technical details.
  • 4. Implementation: simulation, prototype, results and analysis (even if not completed).
  • 5. Organization and time management.

    FINAL PROJECT REPORT:
    Grading: 25% of the final grade.

  • Choice and difficulty of the project: 5%
  • Implementation of the project (developed code, models, algorithms): 10%
  • Written project reports: 10%
        (In addition to a LaTEX or MS Word document, please submit the PDF version and a hard copy of your final report.)
    Note:
  • More credit will be given for completed projects (even if they are less difficult) than to the ambitious unfinished work.
  • In case of team work, we will make every attempt to evaluate individual performance of each team member.
