ENSC 427: COMMUNICATION NETWORKS
ENSC 894 G100 SPECIAL TOPICS II: COMMUNICATION NETWORKS
Note: OPNET versions 16.0.A and 15.0.A are not available any longer.
Starting Spring 2015, only Riverbed Modeler version 18.0 and 18.5 are available.
Riverbed Modeler versions 18.0 and 18.5 are installed on FASnet application server (ensc-watt.ensc.sfu.ca) and automounted on lab desktops.
Riverbed Modeler versions 18.0 and 18.5 run on 64bit CentOS 6.5 or better desktops.
Use:
- 24 Linux machines located in the Undergraduate Computer Lab (ESIL Lab) ASB 1000B/ASB 10803
- 15 desktops located in ASB 10802 (ESIL extension), and
- ensc-watt.ensc.sfu.ca remotely.
ASB 1000B/ASB 10803 (Undergraduate Computer Lab also called ESIL Lab):
    24 Linux Dell PCs: esl2-1 to esl2-24
ASB 10802 (ESIL extension):
    15 Linux Dell PCs: ensc-esl2-25.ensc.sfu.ca to ensc-esl2-39.ensc.sfu.ca
SSH/VNC access is enabled only from other FASNET machines on campus.
User should use the Active Directory for SFU (ADSFU) accounts and passwords.
SFU class mailing list (maillist.sfu.ca) are used to manage the group access to the desktops.
Use path: /ensc/apps/riverbed/18.0/sys/unix/bin.
Before using Riverbed Modeler version 18.0, remove or comment out all older OPENT settings in .login or .mylogin files.
Use commend "modeler" to run Riverbed Modeler version 18.0.
After the first run, it will automatically migrate user's current modeler settings to opnet-18-0.prefs.
