  • Read:
    R. O. Nielsen and A. N. Willson, Jr., ``A fundamental result concerning the topology of transistor circuits with multiple equilibria,'' Proc. IEEE, vol. 68, pp. 196-208, Feb. 1980.

  • Write DC equations for the Schmitt trigger circuit given in the handout no. 6 (page 28a).

  • Conjecture: The "general common base structure" circuit shown in the handout no. 6 (page 28a) must possess at most one DC operating point. Is the conjecture right or wrong? Explain why?
