Contribution of loss episodes and lost packets

Example: Total number of loss episodes = 125

Total number of lost packets = 200

Loss episode of length: No. of packets:

1: 70 1 x 70 = 70

2: 40 2 x 40 = 80

3: 10 3 x 10 = 30

4: 5 4 x 5 = 20

Contribution of loss episodes of length i to total number of loss episodes:

length 1: 70/125 = 0.56 length 2: 40/125 = 0.32

length 3: 10/125 = 0.08 length 4: 5/125 = 0.04
