• Hypothesis: non-homogeneous Poisson distribution (Poisson distribution with variable mean value)

• arrival time = Poisson distribution implies inter-arrival time = exponential distribution

• Kolmogorov-Smirnov Goodness of Fit test for call inter-arrival distribution and exponential distribution:
  • p-value ˜ 0.1 to 0.5

• Our data shows strong evidences that supports this hypothesis
