Packet loss and loss episodes
First loss episode (burst): Begins with packet 2 and ends with packet 3. Length = two packets.
Second loss episode (burst): Begins and ends with packet 5. Length = one packet.
Packets with sequence numbers
1, 4, and 6 are successfully received 2, 3, and 5 are lost.
