Conclusions

• We described OPNET implementation of M-TCP.

• We evaluated M-TCP performance and compared it with TCP in terms of:

  • congestion window size
  • goodput
  • sender’s retransmission timer.

• Simulation results indicate that M-TCP has better performance in the presence of disconnections.
