This workshop is hosted by Simon Fraser University. It is supported by the Pacific Institute for Research in the Mathematical Sciences. The goal of this meeting is to connect mathematicians, physicists and computer scientists interested in common topics. We hope to share open questions with the potential for concrete interdisciplinary collaborations. It will centre around five major interconnected themes:
- Quantum algorithms and complexity theory
- Contextuality and nonlocality
- Classical simulation of quantum computations
- Quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- The stabiliser formalism
