#!/usr/local/bin/php Dining Hall Printing - Installing the Printer and Driver all in one step. These are the instructions for installing the Dining Hall printer AND the driver for that printer, all in one step.  The images and instructions shown are for Windows 8.  However, Windows 7 and even Windows XP should be similar.

1. Navigate to your Control Panel.  Windows 7 users should go to the Start button, Windows 8 users can use the Settings "charm" and then pick Control Panel.
2. Select View devices and printers under Hardware and Sound
3. Click Add a printer.
4. Click The printer that I want isn't listed. Don't worry, it won't be, no longer how long you wait.
5. Click on Select a shared printer by name.

Then type in exactly as shown

 \\papercut10.mps.sfu.ca\Dining Hall

Note the SPACE between Dining and Hall.

Then click Next

6. Windows will work away for a while, perhaps even a couple of minutes.  Have patience.

7. Eventually, you'll be asked for credentials.
8.  Enter your SFU computing credentials, similar to what's shown here.  Note that the User name is preceeded by

adsfu\

!!  It is very important to add the adsfu\ !!

Type in your password and click OK.

9. A familiar screen.  Have patience.
10. All going well, you should see something similiar to what's here, asking to install the printer driver for you automatically.  Click Install driver.
11.  You may be asked a security question (are you sure, etc.)  Click yes.  You should then see the driver being installed, as shown.
12. All going well, you should see this.  Click Next.
13. Do not click Print a test page.  Just click Finish.
14.  And there you have it, a printer ready to go.  Assuming you have funds in your Papercut Dining Hall account, you should now be able to print.
