| 1. You'll also need to know the OPS number of the printer you wish to use. That information is on a sticker (somewhere obvious) on the device itself. Make note of the number before continuing. |

| 4. Click on Next. | ![]() |
| 5. Ensure that A network printer ... is selected, as shown here.
Click Next.

| 6. Ensure that Find a printer ... is selected, as shown here.

| 7. Type in (very carefully)
\\papercut4.mps.sfu.ca and click Next. |

| 8. You'll be asked to provide your credentials. You must
type them in s shown here for the user kipling.
That is, the credential must begin with
ad.sfu.ca\ and then your user ID. Click Next when done. |

| 9. You'll get an error message. That's actually expected!
Click OK. |

| 10. You'll be returned to the last screen. Add
\MPS to what you just typed, as shown here.

| 11. You should now get a drop down list!
Pick your printer from the list, based on the OPS # I warned you about
in step 1.

| 13. Decide if you want this to be your default printer. (No right
answer to this, you decide.)

| 14. Windows may now download a printer driver from the print server,
if a suitable driver does not already exist on your system, and warn you
about it, as shown below. Just click Yes.
The driver install could take a few seconds, but will be completely automatic.

| 16. Tada, a printer!
Assuming you have funds in your Papercut account, you should now be able to print. |
