GEN: Practical Applications of Data Mining Begins Today!

27 November - 16 December 2001

Please join us for a 3-week seminar on "Practical Applications of Data
Mining for Intelligent Learning Environments", facilitated by Osmar R.
Zaiane, University of Alberta.

How will online educators and learners benefit from data mining techniques?
What are the limitations of existing web usage mining applications? How can
these applications be enhanced to help online educators evaluate learning
processes?

Together we will tackle important questions related to the processes and
possibilities of knowledge discovery through data mining techniques.

Never heard of data mining? Doesn't matter! This seminar is for educators,
students, researchers, designers...everyone involved in online education.
