Hello,

In case you haven't seen this, SFU's Institute for Humanities is hosting a panel discussion on the anti terrorism legislation.

Speakers include Dr. Craig Forcese, University of Ottawa, Law who, along with Dr. Kent Roach, drafted a 5 part analysis on the Bill available from https://cdnantiterrorismlawaudit.wordpress.com/; Dr. Margot Young, UBC,  Law; Micheal Vonn, Policy Director, British Columbia Civil Liberties Association; Dr. Max Cameron, Director, Centre for the Study of Democratic Institutions, UBC; Mr. Zool Suleman, immigration lawyer.

I've been advised that if you can't attend in person, the event will be live streamed and archived from their website and Facebook page. More information is available from their events page.

Best,

Carla
