Re: Canvas editing

It is possible to recover some information from a backup. I lost some marks a while ago and emailed learntech@sfu who mailed me the URL for the backup:

Brian,

You may be able to fine the original assignment marks at https://canvas-snapshot.its.sfu.ca/courses/34962/gradebook , which is a backup server that goes back about a week.

If not, which IAT201 D100 assignment did you move and lose the marks for?

later,
Bill

Canvas editing

Dear all -- I was just in the midst of editing a Canvas page, using Safari on a mac. Clumsily, I accidentally swiped the unsaved editing page away -- and can't get it back. So (1) I wonder if anybody else has had this experience and knows a remedy and (2) be careful with the page-edit function in Canvas. JDF
