Greetings all,
I’m sharing the following information on behalf of my MEd student, Melanie Monk. Please share with SFU colleagues who may be interested in participating in her research.

---------
Greetings, you are being invited by Melanie Monk, MEd Candidate in the Faculty of Education, to participate in a research project to identify the motivations, supports, and barriers to researcher development
from SFU faculty's perspective.
Using an intersectional analysis of how personal, institutional, and societal factors intersect to influence researcher development behaviours and outcomes, Melanie aims to identify more inclusive approaches
to developing researcher capacity at Canadian institutions.
If you chose to participate in this study, you would be asked to complete an anonymous online survey in SurveyMonkey about your experiences and perceptions relating to researcher development at SFU. The
survey consists of 15 yes/no, rating, and short answer questions and should take around 20-30 minutes to complete. After you complete the survey, you will redirected to a separate SFU WebSurvey form to enter an optional random draw for a $25 Starbucks gift
card.
For more information, please see the survey invitation attached.
To proceed directly to the survey, please visit: https://www.surveymonkey.ca/r/2VJ9NYZ Michelle Pidgeon, PhD Associate Dean, Indigeneity

Galleria 5 5216, 250-13450 102nd Ave., Surrey, BC, V3T 0A3 At Simon Fraser University, across our three campus we live on the unceded, traditional, and occupied territories of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish), Səl̓ilw̓ətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh),
Xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), kʷikʷəƛ̓əm (Kwikwetlem), Katzie, and other Coast Salish peoples. In acknowledging all the land holders of these shared territories, I take on my responsibility in reconciliation by understanding the truth and stories of these lands and the
peoples’ relationships and responsibilities to these lands. |
