Dear Executive Team members,
As follow up to our meeting, Angela has provided the below information for you to share with your leaders/staff regarding the petition and what to do if they did not sign it and their name is
listed. As there is no contact information listed on the petition it is recommended that it be reported to the source.

It has been brought to our attention that some SFU community members have found their name on a petition that they did not sign: https://www.change.org/p/simon-fraser-university-continue-remote-classes-at-sfu-in-spring-2022

If this has happened to you and you want to report it, at the bottom of the petition you can report a policy violation of impersonation (Please note: that you do need to be logged in/have created an account with change.org to
report a violation. Creating an account just requires your name, email, and to create a password. You will also need to verify your email through their link before signing in).
Tracey has notified Trish and the SFSS of this issue and they will also provide this information to students who raise this concern.
