| Hi all, just in case you missed this survey buried in the SFU newsletter, you might want to take the time to run through this. While a real problem with this survey is that we are constrained to respond to SFU's identified priorities with limited opportunity to share our real needs, we can still try to expand the conversation in the “Other” item responses. For myself, I focused on addressing workload issues, reducing class sizes, and addressing hiring and retention challenges brought about by salary constraints and hiring restrictions. I’m sure you have your own concerns about how to allocate budget to better support faculty and would encourage you to share them through the survey.
