[253] Roy's students: peer review instructions
For those who missed class today, or just need a reminder:
--Peer review starts on Friday morning. By then, make sure your essay on the
wiki is well formatted.
--Deadline to finish is Tuesday by 11pm. Make sure you go over the comments
you receive *before* next week's class.
--What to review? The essay beneath yours in the designated assignment page.
If you are the last name on the list please review the first one on the
list. If there's no essay beneath yours, skip to the next possible one.
--How to review? Add a comment to the essay's page.
--How long should it take? About 15-20 minutes.
--Review questions (answer all!):
1.Is the opinion of the paper easy to locate? If not, why not?
2.Is the opinion clear and easy to understand? If not, what is not clear?
3.Is the description of the personal experience clear and easy to follow? If
not, how do you think it could be improved?
4.Is the description of the observation of others clear and easy to follow?
If not, how do you think it could be improved?
5.Does the argument work well? Are there any problem areas or
counterexamples that you can think of?
6.What do you think is the strongest or best part of the paper? Why?
7.Feel free to add anything else that you think may be helpful to the
author.
Let me know if you have additional questions.
Good luck!
Roy
