[253] eLive tips
Dear 253,
Today AND tomorrow are reading days, apparently... so you'll have
LOTS of time to study for the midterm. If you're really casting about
for things to do, and you figure you'll listen to the lectures again,
you might have noticed that Week6 eLive link was hard to click on in
some emails (it is a long URL and some email programs break it in
two, near the question mark that is part of the URL). Two ways around
this:
1. go to the week 6 web page and click that:
http://arago.cprost.sfu.ca/cmns253/course/materials/week6
2. edit the link that came from the e-mail (it shouldn't be broken
across two lines, and no spaces)
3. try this link:
https://www.elluminate.com/pmtg.jnlp?psid=d1435220734.373635
Note, too, that in my hyperefficiency last week I connected to the
site at 9am and so there is 30 minutes of "dead air" until the
lecture actually starts. You can skip ahead of that by grabbing the
little slider (bottom left of the eLive window) and moving it over.
Here's a screencast that explains that process.

I've added this to our class "podcast," too...
If you add this to the "subscribe" menu in iTunes, you'll get updated
every time iTunes does a check.
Here's the podcast URL:
