Mid Term FAQ

Hello All,
I've had a few questions concerning the midterm, so I'll try to answer them
all here

Q) what's going to be on the midterm?
A) You should be studying all of the assigned readings up to and including
the week on surveillance.  This includes the two week's readings that are on
the wiki.  Please omit the Janet Abbate reading that is listed on the
syllabus. 

Because some of the material only exists on slides, please pay attention to
the slides as well.

Q) What format will the midterm be?
A) You will be required to answer 5 one point questions (a sentence or two);
5 two point questions (a few sentences); and, 5 three point questions
(probably a paragraph).  In each instance, you will be given a choice of 7
questions to answer from which you will choose 5.

Other than that, I hope that the lectures themselves have emphasized certain
aspects over others in relation to the course material.  This is probably a
good indication of what will be emphasized on the midterm.
