Higdon (2002) Function

Description:

Dimensions: 1

This function is a simple example used to test s method of space modeling. The values of the input variable s are spatial locations. A small error term ε ~ N(0, 0.12) is added to the response.

Input Domain:

The function is evaluated on s ∈ [0, 10] (the spatial region).
