Dear Dr. Swartz,
For what its worth, I regretfully have to agree with your article about
Philosophy. I have experienced it firsthand, especially since much of my
research involved a reinterpretation of Sophist thought as it related to
modern science and to our concepts of 'reality'. I had no idea how our
Western civilization had become ensconced in Platonic ideology until I
dared to refute his assessment of the Sophists (and I know I am not the
first to do so!)
