Invited presentation at a joint session of the 2008 Congress of the Canadian Association of Physicsts, and the 22nd High Performance Computing Symposium, Quebec City, June 10 2008. This was a thirty-minute general interest talk for non-physicists who work with high-performance computing. This is the shortest presentation of QCD for a general audience imagineable! Does it work? You tell me!

Invited talk presented at the 2006 Aspen Winter Conference "Particle Physics at the Verge of Discovery", February 15 2006. This is a more technical overview (though for non-specialists) of lattice QCD and the program of the HPQCD Collaboration, intended for subatomic physicists (in both theory and experiment) working at the energy frontier.

Invited presentation given at the Winter Nuclear and Particle Physics Conference, Banff Alberta, on February 19 2011. This is an introduction to Quantum Chromodynamics, including the lattice cutoff formulation, intended for senior undergraduate and graduate physics students, and physics faculty outside of subatomic physics. This is a variation of my previous colloquium-level talks, including at the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of British Coumbia, November 27 2008, and at the University of Victoria, March 1 2006.
