Sea Duck Research
at the
Centre for Wildlife Ecology

The Centre for Wildlife Ecology has undertaken many research projects addressing sea duck population processes (demography, delineation, movements) and habitat use and function. These are launched in response to conservation concerns related to broad-scale, long-term population change or regional scale habitat modification. All projects are conducted in collaboration with federal (Environment Canada, U.S. Geological Survey, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service), state provincial, NGO or university partners.
