Presenters

All student talks are limited to TEN minutes plus a five minute question period. There is no strict limit to the poster size, but since the classroom does not have poster boards, poster presenters will likely to attach the posters on the wall. Adhesive will be provided.

Transportation

Participants are responsible for their own transportation to Loon Lake. Since participants are from mainly from SFU and UBC, carpools can be easily organized. Check the list of participants to see who is coming from your department.

Anticipate travelling time of 2.5 hours from UBC and 1.5 hours from SFU to get to Loon Lake. Please arrive between 4:30 pm and 6:00 pm.

Click here for a map. The arrow only indicates the beginning of the Malcolm Knapp research forest. There is a controlled gate at the entrance to Loon Lake park. Please use the password that was mailed out to you on Oct. 7th to gain access to the premises. Following the gate, you must travel along a 7 km gravel road by following the signs to Loon Lake camp. Once there, just look for Frontiers in Biophysics signs to lead you to the Koerner Lodge.
