Coherent Flow Structures Book

We have made arrangements to publish a book with John Wiley and Sons entitled Coherent Structures in Flows at the Earth’s Surface edited by J.G. Venditti, J. Best, M. Church and R.J. Hardy.  This book will be a little different to ‘normal’ conference proceedings in that we aim to produce a volume that contains both the very best review papers and the most exciting research presented at the meeting, and also achieve a breadth that covers the field of coherent flow structures so that it will become the state-of-play treatment on CFS in flows at the Earth’s surface. We expect that this may greatly increase the use and longevity of the book, and that it will set the stage for new research developments in the field.

We anticipate the book to be published in early 2013.
