Leila Rahemtulla

Leila Rahemtulla is an educator and management consultant. In her 25 years of teaching, she has designed and delivered courses for Simon Fraser University, BCIT and the Justice Institute of B.C., with a focus on organizational behaviour, leadership and instructor development. Leila holds a BComm degree (Organizational Behaviour and Industrial Relations) from the University of British Columbia and has completed course work towards her master of education.

As a consultant, she works with public and private-sector organizations in leadership and employee development and soft skills competency in communications, performance management and conflict resolution.

Leila has designed and facilitated many different initiatives, including agency training for BC Amber Alert, leadership boot camps and various board and organizational retreats and workshops. She’s presented at conferences across North America in the areas of adult learning, technology and leadership and recently published her book, Reignite the Passion in Your Work and Your Life. She also volunteers as the national curriculum and training lead for a conflict resolution training program for the Ismaili community.

In 2018, Leila received the YWCA’s Women of Distinction Award in the area of Education, Training and Development in recognition of her contributions to education and volunteer work within the community.
