Jimmy Yan

Legal Interpretation and Translation
Jimmy Yan is the project and information officer at Access Pro Bono Society of BC. Jimmy joined the Western Canada Society to Access Justice in 2003 and served as its project manager and acting executive director prior to its merger with Pro Bono Law of BC.
Jimmy holds an MEd in law, justice and ethics and he is a regular media commentator on issues of public legal education and information. Jimmy is also the author of the legal educational book, 言出法随 (A Framework to Decode Canadian Law).
He serves on multiple boards, including the Vancouver Asian Heritage Month Society, Royal Commonwealth Society of Mainland BC and Rotary Club of Richmond. Jimmy is the current president of the Rotary Richmond Foundation.
