Description
The university partnership project introduces an innovative approach to international co-operation and collaboration by drawing on Canadian and Thai expertise to build institutional capacity in Cambodia and Lao PDR.
Beneficiaries
The project goal is to promote community economic development in Cambodia and Lao PDR through increased access to quality continuing education and training relevant to the needs of adult women, men, and out-of-school youth, enabling them to participate actively in the social and economic growth of their communities. The ultimate beneficiaries of the project will be the people living in communities served by the partner institutions.

- Continuing Education Centers (CECs) established at NUOL and RUPP
- Capacity developed at CECs
- Curriculum for delivery to communities designed, developed and delivered
- Professional development of staff
- Participatory action research
