Attendance (10% of the final grade)
Regular and punctual attendance at all classes is expected.
If you miss class, you will not be able to engage in the curriculum
substantively enough to successfully complete the course. This
is because the course is designed:
- to unfold and develop with each session building on the
previous one
- to be interactive and collaborative

If you attend regularly, you get 10 marks (10%). To inspire

Participation (10% of the
final grade)
"Participation" refers to small-group and whole-class
work, in class, and online. Participation includes your contributions
to discussions, to others' learning, and to your role in providing
useful feedback to others in your group.
Participation is open-ended; different students will participate
in different ways that we cannot anticipate (e.g., helping other
students with their assignments online and face-to-face, facilitating
and stretching in-class and online discussions in useful ways).
