Software
FTP'g
For those of you who are interested on trying on your own, you can access your Blackcomb space (personal space) from home. You can try to transfer files through an FTP (File Transfer Protocol) program. First, you should check your computer to see if you already have an FTP program.
Here's a link to one for the PC called FileZilla. It is 2.6MB in size, freeware (no cost) and works on Windows 95/98/Me/NT/2000/XP. To login to your Blackcomb space, fill in the following fields. (If you need additional help, please refer to the help pull-down menu). Please note that Irina and I cannot provide any addition assistance on this.

An easy-to-use shareware (15-day trial) called Fetch seems to be the most popular for the Mac. Here's Fetch for OS X (operating system 10) or Fetch for OS's prior to version 10. Again, you'll have to figure out where to enter the server/address, user/login, and password information.
You may want to refer to SFU general hints on setting up your FTP programs.
