The WebCT system is used for several purposes in this course:

1. Announcements by the instructor, TA or your peers pertaining to the course or events of interest.
2. Sharing ideas and resources among your peers.
3. Q&A: A specific conference available for you to post any questions or comments you may have about the course or its content (administrative or conceptual questions). Please use this instead of email if your message is not personal in nature. If you have a question related to the course, it is very likely that someone else in the class has the same question. Refer to it as a course resource. The Instructor and TA will check it regularly.
4. Reading response discussions (N.B. These are graded).
5. To provide you with an online learning experience and skill development in a safe environment.
