Choosing a Tradition

"How do I choose?"

There are a few different ways to choose which tradition you'll focus on for your major term paper:

Below is a little table that I hope will help you narrow your focus. It describes some of the possible interests you might bring to the paper, and the traditions I see as most relevant to those. Once you've identified one or two of the traditions as of possible interest, skim at least one of the papers I have assigned for class for that tradition. Talk with me about any questions you have regarding your choice.
