Industrial mineral deposits formed during each of the tectonic phases, and several volcanoes were occurred during this process which increased the potential of mining deposits, and this area has been considered as wealthy land in the economic geology. Some Specific gem minerals which are found around Vancouver Island are presented here.

A metamorphic rock is a product from a reclassification of igneous or sedimentary rock that is transformed, to a greater or lesser degree, by the action of physical factors such as temperature and pressure during time, or chemical factors that include the addition or defraction of new minerals.
